Course Description

The CLIL Wheel is a way to conceptualise all the different components that make CLIL a success. CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning.  If you are new to the concept of CLIL, I recommend you first do the initial courses "Getting Started with CLIL" and "The CLIL Wheel: an Introduction".

In this course, we are going to look at five of the 10 parameters, namely those that reflect the Content part in Content and Language Integrated Learning. They include four content parameters (1-2-3 Sequence, Leading role of concepts, Task dictates the language, Guided multimedia input) as well as one that bridges content with communication (3 Dimensions of CLIL).
