Course Description

Effective teaching doesn't just happen; it flows from a good plan. This course introduces the key components of a good plan for both skills focus and language focus ELT lessons. You'll learn how to set clear aims, anticipate and mitigate likely challenges and how to identify the materials you'll need for an effective lesson. It also includes expert tips on staging your lesson and structuring micro stages for the intended types of interaction your lesson objectives call for. To get you started, we've included downloadable template and sample lesson plans for your own use.
